Academic Services Coordinator, Academic & Career Pathways (ACP)

One regular, full-time position, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year, primarily based at the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some evening hours and weekends may be required to meet departmental needs and to support programming designed for adult learners.
The individual selected for this position will also support efforts at the San Elijo and Community Learning Center (CLC) campuses and may be required to travel to those locations for events, presentations, and workshops.
Upon successful completion of the probationary period, and with departmental approval, the individual may be eligible to work remotely up to one day per week.
This position is subject to assignment at any district facility during any hours of operation.
The first-level interviews with the screening and interview committee will be conducted via Zoom. The second-level interviews may be conducted in person or via Zoom.
REMOTE WORK:
MiraCosta College supports flexible work arrangements to promote work-life balance. Eligible positions may offer telework (remote work) options based on operational needs and policy guidelines. Telework is not guaranteed, and probationary or temporary employees require vice president approval. Full-time telework is not permitted; all employees are expected to maintain regular weekly on-campus presence.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT:
MiraCosta College Board Policy 7800: Employee Residency requires all classified staff, administrators, and temporary/hourly short-term employees to maintain and permanently reside in a principal place of residence in the state of California that is within two hundred (200) road miles from the employee's regularly assigned district worksite.

The District may consider an individual's request to temporarily reside outside the State of California or beyond the 200-mile limit on a case-by-case basis, provided it does not exceed 12 consecutive months.

Under general supervision, support Guided Pathways initiatives through student intake, program
specific guidance and referrals to campus resources for the Languages, Communications, and Humanities Success Team and Fast Track Programs for adult learners (e.g., Focused Format Programs at San Elijo, REACH Certificates); apply an equity-minded approach to assist disproportionately impacted students; provide specialized support to ACP Success Teams such as coordinate events, occasionally leading planning efforts, provide administrative support, maintain program data; support marketing, inquiry follow up , and communication campaigns through the use of TargetX; perform related duties as assigned.

Starting at $87,874per year (range 26, step 1), with annual salary step increases up to step 5.
